2010 Nationals

The City of North Battleford, Saskatchewan is preparing to welcome glider pilots to the 2010 Nationals on June 13 through to June 24.  Practice days are scheduled for June 13 and 14. The Canadian National Soaring Competition is being hosted by the Soaring Association of Saskatchewan in conjunction with the Alberta Soaring Council.

This year we are tracking the competition in real time. You will be able to see where the gliders are on a virtual map through the internet. Each pilot has a Spot GPS tracking system that tracks were they are. That information is then sent to a satellite that forwards the information to the internet so you can see where all of the pilots are.

There are campground and hotel/motel that are available to pilot/ground crew that are not planning to camp at the airport.
